The race starts at the Village football field beginning with two circuits of the Village for about 2k. This section is relatively flat. A steep climb out of the village heading west follows for about 1k up to Little Acre Farm. The course runs gently down before heading south through the flatest part of the course at about 5k. (There is a water station at the 5k point on the course.) This is followed by a sharp climb before heading east. There is respite with a dip at 6k before climbing up to the top of Ewin's Hill. The summit of Ewin's Hill is reached at 8k before descending steeply down the edge of the escarpment all the way to the finish. For directions to the start follow this link - Aldbourne.
