The course is certified for accuracy by and run under a permit from UK:A and is classed as grade 2 course. This is a major event in the local athletics calendar.
The course is as scenic as ever and as challenging as ever - those several steep inclines are still there for you to conquer!
Open to runners of all abilities. The route takes competitors through the rural Wiltshire countryside in and around the picturesque village of Aldbourne.
Once again it is being organised as a fundraiser for United World Colleges Great Britain National Committee. As a Committee we are committed to fulfilling the UWC mission to make education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future - to find out more about what we do and how you too can contribute to that goal please visit our website www.uwcgb.org here you will find details of how to apply to attend one of the 14 Colleges around the world, how you can contribute and what we are doing.
If you dont feel up to the challenge of the actually doing the 10k - we are happy to accept direct donations via our Just Giving page and we are always in need of helpers on the day, timers, marshals and setting up and taking down.
